Melanie Craft
Melanie Craft began her career as a novelist in college, during a one-month class project where her goal was to write a traditional genre romance. The book, set in Kenya, was later published by Silhouette. She is also the author of ”Trust Me” (Warner, 2003) and the romantic comedy “Man Trouble” (Warner 2004). Her books have been described by critics as “well-written romance” (Booklist), “truly sweet” (Publishers Weekly) and “irresistible” (Romantic Times Magazine). She has a degree in anthropology from Oberlin College, and also studied archaeology at the University of Pittsburgh and the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She lives in California, dividing her time between San Francisco and Los Angeles, and is an active supporter of local charitable groups, including the Peninsula Humane Society, where she serves on the board of directors. Her current writing project is a fantasy trilogy for young adult readers.
